This Privacy Policy explains how Abezara (the "Service", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when You use the application.

1. Data We Collect

We may collect the following types of data.

• Device information (device model, operating system version)
• App usage data (screens visited, features used, session length)
• Basic diagnostic data (crash reports)

We do not require account registration and do not collect Your name, phone number, or payment information. If You use the exam slots section or turn its alerts on, the data listed in section 5 is processed in addition.

2. How We Use Data

We use the collected data only to.

• improve app performance and stability
• fix errors and crashes
• understand how the Service is used in order to improve it.

We do not use Your data for advertising, and we do not sell Your data to third parties.

3. Local Data Storage

Your study progress, answers, bookmarks, and preferences are stored locally on Your device in the app's local database. This data is not transmitted to our servers and stays on Your device unless You uninstall the app or clear its storage. The one exception is described in section 5 and concerns only the exam slots section.

4. Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party services to help us maintain and improve the app.

• Firebase Crashlytics, for crash reporting
• Firebase Analytics, for anonymized usage statistics
• Firebase Cloud Messaging, to deliver a slot notification to Your device.

These services are provided by Google and may process data on servers located outside Your country. Their use of data is governed by Google's own privacy policy.

5. Exam Slots Section and Its Alerts

When You open the slots section, the Application asks our server for the current list and sends the search settings You chose: the exam category, the first-attempt flag, the cities and the status. No device identifier is sent with that request.

If You additionally turn alerts on, the Application sends our server the data without which a notification cannot be delivered.

• Your device push token
• the exam category, the cities and the dates You are watching
• the first-attempt flag and the device platform, iOS or Android.

This data is used only to notify You about a matching slot. Alerts are off by default and work only after You turn them on. When You turn them off, the Application contacts the server and the record associated with Your token is deleted. We neither request nor store Your name, Your telephone number or the credentials of Your account on the government exam booking site.

6. Data Retention

We keep diagnostic and usage data only as long as necessary to improve the Service, in line with the retention policies of the third-party services listed above.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable technical measures to protect data processed through the Service, but no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for users under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children under 16. If You believe a child has provided us with data, please contact us so we can address it.

9. Your Rights

You may request information about, or deletion of, any data associated with Your use of the Service by contacting us via email. Since most data stays locally on Your device, You can also delete it at any time by clearing the app's data or uninstalling the app.

10. International Data Transfers

Diagnostic and usage data processed by our third-party providers may be transferred to and processed in countries other than Your own, with data protection practices that may differ from those in Your country.

11. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date above.
